Hydrogen Peroxide 35-40% Food Grade Supplier, Exporter & Global Wholesaler
PAU Chemicals is an India-based global supplier and exporter of Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide at 35–40%, for aseptic packaging, dairy, beverage and food plant sanitation worldwide.
Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide differs from technical grade in its stabiliser system: it is formulated with only those stabilisers permitted in food contact, and manufactured to FCC purity limits. That distinction is not optional — technical grade cannot legally be used for aseptic packaging.
PAU Chemicals supplies 35% and 50% food-grade concentrations in vented HDPE drums and IBCs designed for oxidiser transport, with assay, stability and heavy metals documented per batch.
Never seal food-grade peroxide in an unvented container. It decomposes slowly and continuously, generating oxygen — a sealed drum will pressurise and can rupture. Always use vented closures and store below 30 °C.

What is Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide, and how does it differ from technical grade?
It is manufactured to FCC purity with only food-contact-permitted stabilisers. Technical grade contains stabilisers not cleared for food and must never be used in aseptic packaging or food contact.
What is it used for?
Sterilising aseptic packaging cartons and films, CIP sanitation in dairy and beverage plants, equipment and surface disinfection, and bottle sterilisation.
Why is it used in aseptic packaging?
It sterilises the packaging surface rapidly and then decomposes into water and oxygen, leaving no residue — which is exactly what a food-contact sterilant needs to do.
Why must containers be vented?
It decomposes slowly and continuously, releasing oxygen. A sealed container builds pressure and can rupture, so vented closures are mandatory in storage and transport.
How should it be stored, and what is the shelf life?
Below 30 °C, in vented original containers, out of sunlight and away from metals, organics and reducing agents. Concentration declines slowly over time, so rotate stock and re-test before critical use.
Is it hazardous to handle?
Yes. It is a strong oxidiser (UN 2014, Class 5.1 with corrosive subsidiary risk) and causes severe burns at this concentration. Use full PPE and read the MSDS before handling.
What packing sizes and minimum order quantity do you offer?
30/35 kg vented carboys, 250 kg vented drums and 1,000 kg IBCs. Export MOQ is 1 FCL.
How is DG shipping handled, and does it affect delivery time?
It ships as UN 2014, Class 5.1. We arrange UN-approved vented packing, IMO labelling and the DG declaration. Oxidiser slots are limited, so allow additional lead time.
