Ferrous Sulphate Heptahydrate Supplier, Exporter & Global Wholesaler
PAU Chemicals is an India-based global supplier and exporter of Ferrous Sulphate Heptahydrate in agricultural, water treatment and feed grades, for fertiliser blenders, treatment plants and feed millers worldwide.
Ferrous Sulphate Heptahydrate is the classic source of soluble iron — pale green crystals long known in trade as green vitriol. It corrects iron chlorosis in crops, removes phosphate and sulphide in effluent, and supplies iron in feed and fortification.
PAU Chemicals supplies crystal and powder forms with iron content and free acid documented per batch, packed in moisture-barrier bags because this material oxidises and cakes readily in humid storage.
Look for a brown or rust-coloured tinge in the crystals. That is oxidation to the ferric form, and it means reduced soluble iron — which is why sealed packing and covered storage matter more with this product than with most.Technical Specifications

What is Ferrous Sulphate Heptahydrate, and what is it called locally?
It is hydrated iron sulphate, known in the trade as green vitriol or simply iron sulphate, and recognisable by its pale green crystals.
What is it used for?
Correcting iron deficiency in crops and lawns, micronutrient fertiliser blends, water and effluent treatment, chromium reduction in cement, and animal feed iron supplementation.
Why has my material turned brown?
It has oxidised to the ferric form, which lowers the soluble iron available to plants. Keep bags sealed and stored dry and covered — this product oxidises faster than most.
How does it help acid-loving plants?
It supplies soluble iron directly and mildly acidifies the soil, which also makes existing soil iron more available. It is commonly used on citrus, blueberries and lawns.
What is the difference between heptahydrate and monohydrate?
The heptahydrate carries seven water molecules and around 19–20% iron; the monohydrate is more concentrated at around 30% iron and more stable in storage, but less soluble in cold water.
Do you supply feed grade?
Yes, as a separate grade with its own documentation. Feed and food grades must be specified at enquiry — agricultural grade must not be used in feed or food.
How should it be stored, and what is the shelf life?
Sealed bags, dry and under cover, away from humidity and direct sun. Caking and browning both indicate storage problems rather than a manufacturing defect.
Which ports and Incoterms do you ship on, and how long does delivery take?
Hazira and Nhava Sheva on EXW, FOB, C&F and CIF terms, typically 3 to 4 weeks. Export MOQ is 1 FCL.
